The Entertainer - July 24, 2009

I have really been anxious to update everyone. After I got my new computer and a new iPhone, I have been busy organizing, learning, loading videos, working on other projects, and backing everything up properly (finally). So, now I feel sufficiently organized and able to clearly write an update.

Ella is moving from helpless baby to exceedingly independent friend / entertainer. Some of her new words include: papa, mimi, uh-oh, flower, bath, baba, water, yay!, and "more". These are added to her already-learned words: mama, dada, nana, duck. She is rambunctious and brave. Her favorite thing to do in her nana and papi's awesome back yard is to climb in and out of things: table, wagon, pool....in...out...in....out. She is also regularly waving wildly and saying a perfectly pronounced "Bye Bye!!!" any time you leave the room, babbling and talking with her hands, and blowing many sweet kisses. She will also make the kissy noise when you ask for a kiss, but no way will she willingly pucker up for you. We have been having loads of fun, to say the least. My pregnancy was very difficult at the end, but this makes it all worth it. She is the most precious, funny, adorable thing in our lives and we cannot wait to celebrate this blessed, healthy first year.
