Ella Rose, the star of this blog, was born August 1 and made a dramatic entrance...but that's a conversation too racy for a blog! She's already shown that she's a girl who knows what she wants and is not afraid to let you know. She's beautiful and sweet and has a way of making everyone laugh. She loves to grunt...I mean, she grunts because she's hungry, when she's waking up, falling asleep, frustrated, pooping, stretching, or just hanging out. She makes all kinds of faces just like her daddy. We joked about this before she was born - about how many faces she was probably making in there. We will try to accumulate those faces and post them here in the near future. Here's a teaser:
The first few weeks of her life have been action-packed and here's the summary:
-Eat -Grunt -Take a few breaths in between gulps -Grunt -Burp -Grunt -Burp -Grunt-Grunt-Grunt-Grunt-Grunt -Poopy -Grunt while her diaper is changed -Sleep -Repeat
Well, that's not quite true. There have been many more events, but that is the general outline. We've already decided she's a genius, of course. She likes to imitate her dad by sticking her tongue out over and over after him. She loves the color red. She will study your face as hard as she can if you do something interesting with it (like make faces which daddy frequently does). We swear she said "daddy" the other day...promise.
On top of all this, she already holds her passy and can forcefully throw it at you when she does not want it AND take it out of her mouth when she wants a break (see picture for proof).
So basically: 1) she is a genius 2) she likes to grunt 3) she is beautiful and 4) she is perfect
